GAERWEN, ANGLESEY

Gaerwen National School overlooked the cemetery of Eglwys St Mihangel.

GELLIGAER

The national school in Gelligaer, Merthyr Tydfil, was initially started  by a local landowner in 1715 who left a bequest to pay for a  schoolmaster to teach fifteen poor boys.

LLANDUDNO

The Old School Lane Centre was opened at St George's National School in 1846.

The Llangollen Health Centre was originally the National School, which was established in 1840.

LLANRYFRYDOG

According to the photographer's research, Llandyfrydog National School (built in 1816) was one of 30 Anglican national schools in Anglesey.
